Re: Britain's Got Talent
Tink, I love that I can come on the boards and broaden my vocab. I had to look up "derision."
Oh my goodness, I kept seeing news stuff regarding S. Boyle, so of course I had to check it out. Peer pressure you know. I was blown away and Simon's face was priceless.
I hope she goes far.

Re: Britain's Got Talent
There was a young boy too, I'm sorry I don't remember his name. He spoke of being bullied for the music he liked and the way he sang and the songs he chose to sing.
It was shaking like a leaf and terrified, but when he opened his mouth the most incredibly beautiful voice began to sing Piu Jesu. I am not exaggerating when I said he moved me to tears.
The three judges were stunned, and all commented on the bullies and his beautiful voice. Hopefully, he too will go a long way.
I think it's a little funny that I don't give a hoot about the American Idol show, but seem to be captivated by Britain's Got Talent!
Perhaps the the genuine nature of the people/contestants I've seen? I know AI has a different focus, and that may be what turns me off, I don't know.
I wish it were something I could watch more of! (Britain's Got Talent, I mean).Thank you for being a member of our Secrets Family!!! We are so very pleased to have you with us!

Re: Britain's Got Talent
I didn't see Paul Potts.

Helly, I'm not so sure they have a slot for warmth, great hugs, wicked sense of humor and pure kindness do they?

Re: Britain's Got Talent
The minute the announcer said he was Welsh, I knew we were in for an amazing singing voice! Smart of him to choose a well known aria, and even smarter for him to do an incredible job!
