Re: a few of my recent cards
aww thank you! i know what you mean, i started off with a few bits and pieces but it gets a bit addictive - i have to be very strict with myself or i'd just end up spending a fortune.....i already spend more than DH realises, but we won't tell him that!
I have managed to get a few pounds back from them being sold in one of my local shops, but it's nowhere near a profit!
Lots of shops sell less expensive products I've found, and if you are careful with what you buy it doesn't have to be really expensive.

Re: a few of my recent cards
The cards are lovely
I wish I could do things like that
Card making and scrapbooking are things I have never really done, I did think about it as a way of having a hobby/job from home but I just wouldn't know what to charge.
Now if it was a cake that would be different
but then I never used to know what to charge for the cakes either

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.
Winne the Pooh - A A Milne

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.
.................

Re: a few of my recent cards
Wow, your cards are beautiful, I know you said you sell them in a shop, have you tried Ebay - I make and sell card toppers and have sold hundreds on it and achieved some really good prices too! I did have to laugh at you spending more than DH realises - I have tons of stuff that he thinks arrived with the fairies

Mandy, it doesn't have to be expensive, I love to make toppers for my cards out of tiny seed beads and they cost just peanuts to make and are really easy to do, it's very therapeutic too

Re: a few of my recent cards
thanks Wendy! I'd love to be able to make really good cakes....I'm a bit hit and miss with those!
Thank you! I've often looked at toppers on ebay - wonder if I've seen any of yours!
Trouble is I've bought a few bits off Create and Craft recently - he's seen the credit card bill - whoops!
Mandy, really - give it a try. You can get card making/craft magazines that come with bits and pieces to get you started.
