3 kids hit Disney - Animal Kingdom & RFC
We passed Everest on the way and spotted the single rider line with no one in it. I asked the kids if they were brave enough to ride without me and we went through the gate.
This single rider business is fab and we ended up riding Everest 10 times in total over the course of the day!!!!
Dinoland was fairly quiet and we managed to do Dinosaur and Primeval Whirl twice each with no wait.
We walked through the jungle trek and I took loads of photos of the waterfalls and animals. It’s so tranquil in here you could almost forget you are in a theme park.
It was time for the Jammin Jungle Parade so I parked the kids with the camera and video camera and went shopping.
I’ve seen it once and am not bothered about seeing it again. Should have watched it cos I spent a fortune. Kitchen stuff was the order of the day so I bought a kettle (doesn’t everyone get a kettle on holiday then?), oven gloves, a Mickey shaped red leather box, coasters, t towels, plates …….
All ‘charged’ and shipped back to the resort so obviously it didn’t feel like I was paying for it!!
We decided to leave now as we had an ADR at the Rainforest Café. DS’s birthday was on 23rd July so he wanted a birthday meal here.
Stopping for lots of photos in front of the tree on the way out meant we arrived just in time.

I really can’t remember what we ate at RFC but needless to say it was too much and we still had a Volcano.

DS took a fancy to the leather wallet that they give you the bill in as it had ‘Year of a Million Dreams’ stamped on the outside and as we had such a nice server I asked if he could have one. He winked at us and said it was so dark in there and it found its way into one of our bags (we played free dining with it for weeks after we got back!!!).
It’s absolutely freezing in RFC so once we had paid (I think I did this OOP because it’s not on the DP) we made our way back over to the bus park.
