delayed check out?

do disney allow a delayed check out?

Am I right that its usually 11am? we dont fly till late in the evening so it would be a long time out of the room for us

I have asked and been accomodated on occasion...however I will say they try to turn those rooms around quickly so you're chances are somewhat slim, in my opinion.

The other option however, is that they *will* most definitely hold your luggage for you until your flight (or other departure). I know that doesn't help with being out of the "room" but at least you're not lugging your luggage about...

Also, if you truly are desperate to have a room, I believe you can book one at the Hyatt in MCO for the day. I don't know *all* the details, but this thread might help...

Whenever we have asked at the GF, we have been allowed a late check out, but only until 1.00pm.
At least this gives us an extra 3 hours away from sweating in our return journey clothes!

When we stayed at the ASMo in August 2007 we were allowed a late check out to 1pm when i asked the evening before.

yeap! 1pm is the most they will do

however as has been said, you CAN leave all your luggage at the reception desk

so... say... you wont leave the hotel until 3... you can check out at 1, leave your luggage and then have a late lunch, sit around the lobby, visit the resort shop one last time, and then you are good to go!

We always ask for a 1pm check out and never had a problem
