      Today we watched for the first time...

      The LION KING!

      Tatiana LOVED the opening scene.... she pointed to the giraffes, zebras and elephants.... and roared whenever Mufasa appeared

      It was so sweet.... a GREAT way to start the day

      Oh l love that film . It was Zoes bestest film when she was little. We wore out the video and l have never been able to get the DVD. It is my all time favourite Disney film, and some of my best memories of my little girl. Could l still get the DVD.

      I don't know Siobhan... If a DVD were purchased here, could you play it there?

      My Da was the person I first watched it with! I'd stopped by their house and he said, with a great big, little kid grin, "You wanna' watch the Lion King?" I was a little surprised that he'd want to watch a children's movie, but said yes and what a film! Nice memories.

      I took Alysia to see it when it came out. She was 3. Other than a brief "Why did the daddy die? That is so sad mama" she was totally enthralled with the film.
