Went to Coral Reef last year and the food was fab.

Re: bistro de paris and coral reef
Did you like it really well DizneyBlonde? I've only been to Coral Reef years ago and was terribly disappointed. So much so, I've not been back since. What did you have and was it fresh? I really can't eat seafood that's the least bit "fishy" tasting.

I've not done the Bistro either! I've dined several times at Chefs (ground level) and it was lovely. We like to order "for the table" and then share. We've had the Salad Nicoise, the charcuterie platter, the cheese platter, and the saumon tartare. Along with a carafe of their house wine, it is a very nice meal!Thank you for being a member of our Secrets Family!!! We are so very pleased to have you with us!

Re: bistro de paris and coral reef
Never been to Bistro de Paris....but I won't be going back to Coral Reef in a hurry after my experience earlier this year.
I booked an ADR because I had arranged for a diver for DH for our wedding anniversary....this was all perfect.
However, after a long wait, we ordered our meal. After a long wait, our meal arrived. I had asked for my pork to be very well done and asked specifically for there to be NO blood what so ever.....also for a plain piece of pork with no sauce. When the plate was put in front of me I was really put off by the blood running from under my meat. I cut a piece off the meat to check inside and it practically grunted at me.
I very politely asked the waiter if they could change the pork and explained why. About 15 minutes later, my plate comes back with a fresh piece of pork...covered in the sauce.
I explained about the sauce and my plate was taken away again. When my meal came back....they brought the original piece of pork that I had cut into earlier but it had been cooked more.
This made me wonder where they had got my piece of pork from as it was a fresh piece on the plate before it. I had visions of it being rescued from disposal somewhere and it just put me off.
I know....I'm fussy
