Virgin Flight Availability

Hi

Does anyone know whether Virgin release all of the seats on their flights immediately or do they hold some back?

We want to travel out on 18th December but the only date available from either Manchester or Gatwick (at a reasonable cost) is 23rd of December. This is not a problem - however I have enough points for a reward flight - but there is no availability for any dates later than the 11th of December.

Just wondering whether anyone had any insight?

Can't really answer your question but just wanted to add that we were trying to fly out on the 20th december. VH were showing no availability apart from upper class.
VA wanted £1718 for two seats which nearly knocked me off my seat.

We have gone for 18th December at £1120 with VA.

Yes, I can find seats for about £600 each - but I really don't want to pay that much. I can use my miles and go out on the 30th Dec and back on the 18th Jan - but really I would like to stay a bit longer.

Isn't it annoying when people do not accomodate your every wish exactly?

It is annoying yes....I don't think we're ever going to be able to use our points as we have to either fly out or return during school holidays.

As for filming in the parks, post your itinerary when you get one and I'll do my best to catch you....it's not a problem
