Oooh yes if it wasn't for you we'd never have found Saturn hiding behind the neighbour's chimney.

Can we see the constellation Perseus in this hemisphere?

Yep its not an easy one to see its a bit stringy and drawn out under cassiopea and is easiest to see in the Autumn - has a beautiful double cluster of stars in it

Hmm.. this sounds like something I am interested in

I think a car/driving test comes first but I think I will be back in touch before christmas regarding advice for a scope

There is a ton of light pollution where I live though

Cool! The kids I'm working with are doing Greek mythology and we've been reading the story of Perseus. I told them that Perseus and Andromeda are up in the night sky and they all want to know where.

Andromeda is close to Perseus and cassiopea in the sky. In fact Pegasus is close by as well. Have you found the story of Orion and the scorpion and why they can never be in the sky at the same time?

For the astronomy stuff it might be worth you or hex doing a thread sometime to say what sort of stuff you have seeen so people don't just think it's me
