Photo Pass
Is it worth it to get the Disney Photo Pass if you're bringing your own camera? Chances are that's the only way I will get in a photo, and it'd be nice in case something happened to our camera/memory cards... but I can't find out how much the CD is.
And are the photographers hard to find?
Thanks!!

Re: Photo Pass
No there are now photographers everywhere - not only by the castle, ToL bt in the hotels and pretty much everywhere you look now. They take some nice pics and the main advantage is you can have the whole family in a shot rather than the usual. we had one running the whole time we were out there and got about 130 pics on it - we have looked at them online and compared them with the ones we have taken and we wont be buying them this time but we have in the past.

Re: Photo Pass
We pre ordered the photospass in 2007 and saved a few $.
We had over 600 photos on 3 cds by the time we got them delivered.
That was on top of the 2000+ photos we took ourselves.
We stopped every photographer in sight
Here's a link to pre order

Re: Photo Pass
It is worth doing to try and get some nice family/group shots and also the photo's can be duplicated online and borders, character signature added to the pics so if you have 150 pics you can add borders to them etc but save the photo as new, leaving your original untouched and end up with 300 or even more!
There is no obligation to purchase and I believe if you pre-order/pre-pay you can request a refund if you decide it's not worth it.
We've done this twice but would be reluctant to do again as we spent alot of time searching out photographers to get our moneys worth and the photographers are not 'professionals' they're CM's who've been shown how to use the camera (at least most of them are just 'ok' picture takers)

I total agree it is well worth the money, We got some lovely photo pass photos.
Best thing is everyone is in the shot, nobody left out because there are taking the photo.

Re: Photo Pass
We've gotten the photopass several times. In fact, if there are several of us going, we tend to share the photopass so it's more economical for all of us.
The pictures are great. They also add characters in at several places.I am a travel agent with The Magic For Less Travel. Please private message me if you'd like help booking a trip!
