Re: Tatiana's Library
You know? I used to really like the Ugly Duckling too.
Is that story too old for your Tatiana?

Re: Tatiana's Library
Good! I don't feel so out of date now!

I liked Hans Brinker and the Silver Skates too.
When I got a bit older I loved the short series the Borrowers. I liked Misty of Chincoteague, and Stormy Her Foal too. I've always wanted to go to those islands off the outer banks and see the wild horses!
My grandfather allowed me uncensored access to his library, so as a child I read whatever I pleased. Some of it was well over my head at the time, but it laid the foundation for a lifetime love of books and reading. I'm sure your Tatiana will have that too!Thank you for being a member of our Secrets Family!!! We are so very pleased to have you with us!

Re: Tatiana's Library
My Da didn't either, but did set the example of reading for us.
My Grandfather was a great story teller. We preferred that he tell us a story to reading from a book!
It was essentially the same though, eh? Imparting a love of the word.

I'm so glad others have heard about the Grover book.
Also, I just remembered that I use to love the Berenstain Bears! There are loads of those!

Re: Tatiana's Library
You know? I looked at that Grover book for Seth for Easter! I ended up not getting that one, but maybe I'll snag it the next time I run across it.
