Nut the individual subframes look pretty much like the finished product and I shoot in L (curve) not in RAW each photo is just a little noisier than the combined effect of them all - then this 'sandwich' of 20 photos has bias frames subtracted as well as dark frames of equal length with the lens cap on this removes all the hot pixels and noise from the sensor getting hot with such long exposures. In order to 'see' these you would need a dark site and quite a big scope.
