Mickeys not so scary halloween party 2009
Can anyone tell me what actually happens in MNSSHP 2009 ? I've just watched the video which looks great but what is there that you dont see normally? Is it just a different parade?

Re: Mickeys not so scary halloween party 2009
Tom,
MNSSHP is a whole lot of fun! At least my DW and I think so. The lights go down, the Headless Horseman thunders through the MK and the parade beigns. All your usual parade supects; Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and of course the characters from the Haunted Mansion (in the flesh, so to speak). Almost everyone dresses up in some kind of costume and then trick or treats throughout the MK. Spooky music through the sound systems. All told, a whole lot of fun. My DW and I have it scheduled for our trip later this year! Wouldn't miss it for anything!

This will be our first MNSSHP too, and we were wondering the same thing!! Especially if DS would be a little old for it?

Re: Mickeys not so scary halloween party 2009
We'll be there on Oct 31st this year. Having done the party before we're really looking forward to it

We don't do anything halloweeny normally at home either, but the Disney party is great! The parade is wonderful, decorations great, even the trick or treat is fun
To be honest, sometimes some of the Disney celebrations can feel a bit contrived but the Halloween party really has a natural theme and a reason for being there.
I'm tempted to say I enjoy it more than the Christmas party which is saying a LOT!

MNSSHP is really cool you get to dress up in halloween stuff. and you get a bag from a cast member and you get to go round all the stands and get candy. there will be really big mickey heads floating so that you can see where the candy stands are and you can go round the stands more than once. The CM's dress up as well.
