So glad you're still going!
Definitely recommend a wheelchair. You can rent one offsite in Orlando so you'll have it at the hotel/resort/villa, as well as the parks and any place else you go.
I hobbled around WDW using a walker in December 2007. No fun at all. Much more fun if someone else pushes you around!

Oh thank goodness for that! The poor child will probably need a wheelchair I should think, I cannot imagine trying to get around on crutches!
