TRex restaurant - we did not enjoy!

We went to T-Rex restaurant. Must admit that the food was OK, but we found the place very noisy & very cold!!! I know most places have air conditioning, but it was extremely cold & the food went cold very quickly too!!

The staff talked non - stop when describing the menu - which we felt was uncalled for. From time we got into restaurant until we got the meal was 45mins!!! 45mins in the cold! We also found the meal expensive (but expected as it was Disney).

Make sure if you do go there to take a cardi. Theming is great, but I don't think we will go there again

So sorry you weren't able to enjoy it, Helen. It's difficult to enjoy food--or much of anything else!--when you're cold, isn't it?

Not a fan of the "concept" restaurants myself, so I doubt I'll be trying it. RFC is cute, but the menu and food--at the two I've been in--weren't appealing or worth the price. Skipped the ones at WDW, since I didn't like the others.

we went into the shop area when we were there in november and must admit i was glad to get out the noise was unbearable

i must admit i'm not one that really rates Rain forest cafe, i go there for the theming not the food but i will go to the TRex when we go with my nephew because teh kids love these places

We also like the Rainforest cafe & find the food OK! Was really disappointed in the T-Rex.

We liked the dino's but didn't l;ike the service or the food - if we went again I don't think we'd go back

We were all excited as this is the only restaurant we have booked so far!!

How does it really compare to Rainforest Cafe as we all love it in there??

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it. We went back in Dec and had a great time. I thought the food was much better than RFC.

I'm one that enjoys the AC. My DD is always cold though so I tell her to bring a light jacket when we go to restaurants and movies.

I was concerned about how noisy it would be, and there for decided not to try it on this trip...

and if the food isnt that good and the place is so cold.... definetly staying away!

we might just check the build a dino shop.. is it there or at AK?
