Walt Disney World to try new Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party
The test will run from June 23 through Saturday, August 29 near the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station.
Possibly in the Noodle Station's lower seating area perhaps the middle level, as well. The party will feature an all-you-can-eat self service, dessert buffet and beverages, and will run from 1 hour prior to Wishes through the end of Wishes.
The cost will be $17.99 for adults and $9.99 for kids. Booking opens on Monday 22nd June 2009, and you can call the Disney Dining Line (407-WDW-DINE/407-939-3563) to make reservations. Walk ups will be accepted if there is space but it's expected that space will be very limited.
Party attendance is prepaid, and, as with the Fantasmic dining package, there will be no refunds if the weather causes a cancellation of Wishes. The dessert reception will be held regardless of weather.
I'm not sure this is the best place to watch Wishes from so this does sound a little opportunistic on Disney's part but if you're out there at the time and do this, we'd love to hear your review

Re: Walt Disney World to try new Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party
I've heard some complaints about this already. Disney is going to make as much money as they can. It is a corporation first and foremost. Some rumblings have this as a test not only of this specific area but for areas in other parks that are deemed "premium locations" for viewing the fireworks shows.
Not so sure I buy that, as the World Showcase is pretty much good all around, but just passing on what the rumbles are saying.
I know where the Noodle shop is, but I can't picture where would be a good spot to see Wishes "down there?"
We always prefer smack in line with the castle (somewhere near the Walt and Mickey statue).
