if you are staying at a disney resort ... do you get

We will be renting a car for a couple of days during our stay, and are still working out whether to rent it for just 1 day and use it for what we need, or keep it overnight and use it the next morning to go to a different resort for a character meal...

You are given a piece of paper to put on the dashboard that says you are a resort guest.

They usually allow you 3 hours parking at resorts other than the one you are staying at.

Yes, we always have our car when we check in and I have a feeling they give us the piece of paper to put in the window at the security booth when we first arrive - ask at the front desk though as I'm not sure what happens if you get a car halfway through your stay

The only time you would get charged is if you valet park your car at one of the resorts.

We went to the Poly last Friday morning for breakfast at Captain Cooks (Tonga Toast!!!) and they didn't give us anything regarding a timelimit for the parking. I can't remember the last time that had happened.

thats great then - we got a 3 hour pass every time we went to another resort in 2007.
