Scheduled to open some time in 2010 at Universal Orlando, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be located in the Islands of Adventure and will feature a robocoaster, hogwarts schoo, hogsmeade village, hagrids hut and the scary forbidden forest.

The area is over 20acres and has at least three shops, a restaurant and several other buildings.

Special effects include floating candles and indoor snow.

Hogsmeade village will have the Three broomsticks restaurant and some stores such as Dervish and Banges which will sell magical equipment. Children everywhere will be glad to know that Honeydukes sweet shop will be there too selling tasty treats such as chocolate covered frogs.

The robocoaster will be a ride where guest sit suspended from a giant robotic arm which will swivel and swoop in all directions. This would allow them to recreate quiddage, broomstick riding generally or perhaps allow the wizarding tournament to be recreated in a show.
