Résumé cover letters from hell!

Diane (MystikPiglit) started a thread in Chit-Chat about a rather bizarre job advertisement called the "Best job advert ever!".

Of course, given the way my mind works (or doesn't), that reminded me of an advertising agencies web site that I had seen some time ago. Seems they've collected the worst of the worst résumé cover letters over the years and published them for your enjoyment.

If you're writing one, here's what NOT to do!

Oh my gosh. I used to be HR for a small company (less than 200 employees). I can honestly say that I've seen some worse than those. It's amazing what people think is appropriate for a resume, or an interview!

I had a man come in wearing sweat pants and a t-shirt that not only had holes in it, but rode up over his substantial belly.

AND! It was a HAIRY belly too!

No. I didn't hire him.
