dine with shamu?

Off to seaworld for the first time ever but is the dine with shamu worth doing? It seems a bit expensive but we'd do it if its worth it? are there any other extras we should do?

Ive not done it before but im hoping too on our next trip! Im really looking forward to it, hoping to get some lovely photos!

I loved it. If you book early you get the pool side tables, our food did get splashed a few times though lol. My DS1 hated it though. He has a big problem with Seaworld so I didn't think he would love it. He did admit that it was great getting up close.

Yes it is worth it. As already said book as early as you can as tables are allocated in order of booking. We had a table right next to the water. Good choice of food, interesting talk by the trainers, great photo opportunities...ah and it was free unlimited beer when we were there

There were two seatings when we went. You have your photo taken on arrival and they are ready at the end if you want to buy them.

How far in advance can you book, do you know?

I think we booked it about 6 months in advance but that can vary so it's bet to check the site everyday to see when the dates you want are available to book. We had great seats and we really enjoyed it

How much is it and how long does it take? It might be nice for us to do but if it takes too muck out of our day at Sea World (we'll only have 1 day) then we'll have to miss it.

1 - 1 1/2 hours I think if I remember rightly.

Not sure on price but $30 something rings a bell - not a lot of help am I

Actually $42 adults $22 kids - that has gone up since we went in 2007

My hubby and I booked this a few years ago and didn't really enjoy it for the price we paid. Yes if you get a seat right where the whales come up to you then great, but if you are on the sides or on a back table, its not so good. I personally wouldn't do it again, but you should try everything once in my opinion.
