      Kennedy Space center

We'd like to try and see the kennedy space centre this time as we missed out last time

Is it possible to travel there without a car with a taxi cab or would that be really expensive? If not, how about a bus or coach tour or something like that?

Second question, is it best to buy tickets for these things before we leave or on the day and what are the lunches, tours and so on like? Are they worth doing bearing in mind we only have one day to see everything

I think a taxi would be a horrendous cost it is about an hour or so to get there. They do have coaches that go specifically there. Hopefully someone can help more.

I'm not up to date now with the SK prices... but this is what we did... We paid on the day... and from what I can remember it wasn't any dearer to do this. They have a website so you may like to go and have a look. We needed ID for the Up CloseTour and it was very poignant. You won't fit it all in in one day but you will get alot done if you get there first thing in the morning, we found we couldn't do a tour and a meal with an astronaut as the times overran

      Re: Kennedy Space center

We've done it both ways. First time we called a town car company and arranged a price for the day. Yep it was verrrry expensive although we worked out a bit of a deal since the driver fancied a day there himself. It was good because we stayed as long as we wanted to and did the dine with an astronaut.

The next few times we went with www.gatortours.com who are considerably cheaper but sadly not as flexible with times. Nevertheless, that's the most economic way I've found of getting there.
