Theres a chance that we may have to cancel next years trip to Florida

We've booked through TCD which as you know now belongs to Virgin. I thought i had read somewhere that if you cancel x amount of days before the holiday you will get a refund, but all the information i can find on tcd's website says you will lose the deposit.

Anybody ever cancelled their holiday before - what did you get back if anything?
