      best restaurant for a celebration?

ok we have an anniversary when next at Disney and would like an adults only party with champagne flowing

Any ideas for the best place to go?? we liked the california grill last time but there were still a lot of kids around, perhaps it gets a little more grown up later?

      what about jiko?

Re: best restaurant for a celebration?

Victoria and Albert's has limited children to 10 and older, so that will help some.

Jiko is wicked nice, but kids still abound as they really do in any signature restaurant.

We did notice less children in Bistro de Paris, the upstairs restaurant in France. The food was delicious (we did the degustation/tasting menu) and the service was not rushed at all. As a matter of fact the server was pleased that we were there to dine, not "eat and rush off to the park." You could tell them it's a special event, and request a table at the window where you could then see Illuminations.

Artist Point is another lovely restaurant, as is Yachtsman's Steakhouse. Again though, no lack of children. BlueZoo in the Dolphin is very nice, but you'll want to have seafood if you go there; that's the specialty of the place.

Perhaps if you book a later in the evening reservation that might reduce the number of children around? However, if you are there during free dining, g-d help you. There will be hoards of screamingly tired children at signature restaurants at 9:00 pm.

Another vote for V&As no kids and perfect for a bit of romance and spoiling.

My fave would be V&A. But I have to agree with Tink. Very few children at Bistro de Paris and outstanding menu.
