OMG to think that he may have been given methadone is outrageous. I am a carer in adults serivces and I have to give this medication to people and I have seen what it can do. his parents must be out of they mind with worry. I'm glad they had a witness to the actions of the pharmicist.

Zach is still out for the count but keeps waking up the hospital have said it will take time to come out of his system but they need to know what it wa
I can't believe they still don't know what it is, surely the pharmicist should be questioned by the police to find out what he has been given.

I have been contacting the local PCT and also a number in london that will test the drug. They will then be taking further action once Zach is back to normal
    Please keep us upto date.

I am hoping that the hospital have either contacted the police or the pharmacy to ensure this person is not working
I think this needs to be checked

Poor Adam and Angela sound shattered and I dread to think how they are ever going to trust anyone giving them a perscription drug again. It should have been a simple medication for chest infection
Please pass on my big hugs to all the family.

    Will keep you updated

Oh how scary!!! I pray that everything is ok with the poor little guy. I know his parent's must be scared spitless, but that they must be pretty angry right now too.. I know I would be!! Please keep us informed!

Has there been any news on Zach?
Love isn't about finding someone you can live with.
It's about finding someone you can share a lifetime with.

Sorry not given you an update until now Zach is now at home thank goodness, Adam has given the pharacist a chance to tell them what was in the bottle but they will not say. I have seen and tasted the medicine and it is definately nothing you would give a child as it is very bitter and tastes disgusting. They are now having it tested and taking to the pharmicutical society and a solicitor.

We also noticed that the bottle only had once signature on it iun the boxes dispensed and checked, so would say that is not right.

The hospital said luckily they had only given him one dose and no more.

    Thanks for all you support
