I'm so pleased little Zach is ok
Thanks for the update, I'm really please little Zach is o.k.
Just got around to this and so sorry to hear about all the worry and just so glad that the little one is safe and well.
Dipensing errors do , regrettably, occur all the time, to err is human as they say but the way this has been handled by the pharmaceutical people involved sounds decidedly dodgy to me. Please keep us updated
Lested is the PCT have written back with a load of untruths that the chemist has told them, so now it has to go down another route and they now have the name of a solicitor who deals in medial negligence.
They admit it was an adult fomulation but say that was on the perscription but unless they can get the copy of the perscription they cannot prove that. But the bottle stated simple linctus.
Since then found out someone who is diabetic had been given the wrong drugs there, but he did nothing about it, he realised when he opened the packet.

Ugh. Sounds like it is a very poorly trained (or sloppy) pharmacist. That's something you don't need to deal with (nor anyone!). I hope the authorities are able to sort through all the facts and make a sensible determination that will prove to protect the patients that go to that chemist shop.
Thank you for the update.
