Took Ella (my dog) to the beach today at Bournemouth and to begin with we walked along the clifftop. I noticed a few people standing on the clifftop looking out to sea with binoculars and cameras with HUGE lenses.
I looked out but couldn't see anything so carried on walking. After a while I realised that a lot of people were there so I asked a couple what they were looking for and she said a whale had been spotted but they had been there yesterday and seen nothing so had come down to see if they could spot it but had seen nothing.
I started to walk on when I heard a woman shout its there so I looked over and it was leaping out of the water! Then went back under again.
I was walking with Ella for about 6 hours along the beach and back and I was lucky enough to spot it another twice after that.
Made a change from seagulls and surfers!!

Is it still out there? Wow. We might pop down there on Sunday and see if we're as lucky as you!
