Instead of being on the computer as much, I have been doing lots of gardening, DIY and cooking. Things are definitely looking a whole lot better around here since I have dragged myself away from the keyboard.
I have also been to Munich for three days (absolutely fantastic) as well as N.Ireland and will post a trip report in the next day or so.
In the meantime here are some pretzels I baked yesterday and a peach upside down cake I made last weekend. I just love all those American recipe sites!

    Salted Pretzels

    Cinnamon pretzels

    Peach Upside Down Cake

Now that the garden is looking tidy and the curtains and carpets have been steam washed, I will be on a whole lot more.

Thanks Helen. I have definitely being spreading myself a bit more thinly. I go on loads of sites but have been on so few lately.Ive ended up not remembering my passwords for some and now Im locked out! Its a wonder I got the Munich trip done at all. We had a fab time there and Dachau was so touching.

    This is the recipe.

Homemade Soft Pretzels Recipe : Alton Brown : Food Network

It looked much nicer than any on Allrecipes and the reviews were very good. I like this video showing you how to roll the dough!

Alton Brown usually has quite reliable recipes.

    I LOVE soft pretzels.

Good to have you back with us Mags. Have missed you! Looking forward to hearing about North Ireland. Have thought about visiting there too...

Not a huge fan of peaches, but if you give me a good old spoonful of whipped cream, I'll force a slice down.
