what do you think of this
Intel® Core™ 2 Quad-Core Q8300 Processor (2.50GHz, 4MB cache, 1333MHz FSB)
8192MB 800MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [4x2048]
2TB (2X1TB) 7200rpm SATA Hard Drive - Dual HDD Config
512MB ATI® Radeon™ HD 4350 graphics card
All I'll say is that memory is essential the more photoshop you do. If you start processing raw images and want to get any kind of decent workflow going, the single greatest impact on the speed of that technology wise will be how much memory you have.
I reckon 4GB minimum now for any desktop and 8GB for photo editing? absolutely or even more!
well as you've seen, everyone has their own opinion but in my experience, for photo editing on a modern platform, no way is it OTTOriginally Posted by britchick, post: 173700
if your motherboard supports it then yes it will make a nice difference in speed as long as the sticks are installed in groups of threes and are all identical in specificationsOriginally Posted by britchick, post: 173702
