The Kitchen Sink was the most fun I had had in ages, we laughed, we ate and we fought over strawberrys.
After the Kitchen Sink was consumed we could barely move let alone do anything constructive so the airbed went up and everyone changed in their pj’s and we all relaxed.
We spent to remainder of the night chatting, watching holiday dvd’d, drinking wine, eating crisps (we found room in our bellies!) and laughing, a lot!
All too soon 01.30 was upon us and we agreed we really had to go to bed.
We were all up on Sunday between 08.00ish and 08.30ish and ready to leave the house for the 09.30 ferry to Plymouth.
We dropped the kids off at the Vue as they were seeing a preview of Wall-E and after hugs with the young ‘un’s the grown up’s set off for the train station.
I could hardly believe it, this weekend had gone so fast it was daft!
Teresa and Claire loaded me onto the train and then I hung out of the window saying my good bye’s until the whistle went.
I shall never, ever forget the sight of the two of them jogging along side the train waving good bye to me! It was too funny!
So, in six and a half hours I shall be back in Leeds with just photo’s, memories and an expanding waistline. Oh, and confirmation I have made two fantastic friends (+ kids!)
Thankyou so much Teresa, Claire, Robyn, Jack and Dannielle. You were amazing company all weekend and I had a blast!
Jack, hurry up and get the Kitchen Sink on youtube!
jodie has explained it all so well that all is needed are some pics that jodie didnt manage to get...not sure how!!!!!!
the weekend was a huge success and i have been dancing and singing all day at work, as it certainly gave me a huge pick me up, which is what i needed after my last week.
and unlike the other 2 i am the only one who made it too work today!!!
so, from my own concerns as to would it really be ok to meet up with complete strangers, whom the only thing we have in commen is disneyworld, my answer is yes!!!!
these 2 girls are an absolute scream, i havent laughed so much in ages.
we really clicked and a great friendship i hope is formed.
teresa is a devoted mother, and her children are wonderfull polite well mannered individuals, who were only too pleased to accomodate us and our passion for disney.
as for jodie, she was just as i imagined, bubbly funny and very very good company!!!!!
i cant wait to spend many more weekends with them both!!!!
