    Off to Disney soooooooon :D

I usually just use my UK iphone to text home, data charges are absolutely terrible!

This time I'd really like to be able to email photos to mouse on the move :D

I'm a total newbie when it comes to US cell phones never have even bought one to phone home with like some of you do.

So, I need a pay as you go phone and network which will allow me to top up easily and take phone photos then email them.

The network needs to work well throughout Disney

Any ideas on, well, everything??? what network, what phone, what pay as you go plan, where to buy it? :)

I know that Chris [Wendy`s DH] did a lot of research on this "over there" before deciding the way to go on their recent trip Keith.
Unfortunately it was coming towards of our vacation before he told me about it or I would have followed his example.

Back when I had to purchase a phone for when we went to Disney, I used the go phone from AT&T. You can buy it at Wal-Mart and other stores. I was able to send pictures, texts, call people for about 10 cents each time. Of course, all my messaging was within the US. Not sure what it would be for international info.

I did find this website...... Prepaid Phones - Prepaid Wireless - Prepaid Cell Phones
    Hopefully it is helpful

    Thanks Johnie!

Actually I just want it as an email phone. I won't be calling home with it or anything like that

Can you not sync your phone up to a Wireless Hotspot if all you want is to email? Does the place you stay in not have wireless internet?

We're not big phone people, but we have TracFone, very cheap, can buy a 1 year, double minute contract card and they get reception everywhere. You can top off your minutes on the phone or on the computer. I believe they have a camera phone as well.

Did you check for email service with Metro PCS, Keith? Or Verizon pay as you go for email? I know getting phone and text service is easy enough, but the pay as you go email is trickier.

Metro PCS seems to be quite a popular service, and Seth's Da uses it, but again not for email.
