Thread: Car boot sale advice

    Me and the boys are going to do a car boot sale next week and was wondering if anyone has any tips or advice for us, we have never done one before.
    The boy are clearing out all the old toys, (working ones of course)
    And I am going to have a general clear out of bit we have keep encase we may use them and never have, things like picture frames, videos, old video cameras etc.

    Any advice will be greatfully received.

    Hope it doesn't rain. Take plenty of change because you can guarantee the first person to buy something from you will only have a twenty. Carriers bags are useful. Take your own food so you don't spent your takings on bacon rolls. Don't let the kids go and look at stuff - there go your takings again. Be prepared to haggle. Try and get as many things as viewable as possible - I never rummage through big boxes of stuff to see what is at the bottom.

    Where are you going? Do you have any nice Disney stuff?

    We are doing the car boot sale at my sons high school, (Falmer) and no sorry not one single disney item.
