Well, the day has finally arrived I have to be in between 7.00am to 7.30am tomorrow morning. I have been told that it will be a 45 minute op and depending on how I am afterwards, I can go home later that day
When I saw the pre-assessment nurse last week, she did an ecg and other bits and bobs. I also had to have mrsa swabs taken because Chris had been in hospital within the last 12 months, I haven't heard anything so that was obviously clear :) She said that I was the 2nd on the list and I did tell her about my panic attacks so she made a note - I wasn't going to say anythng but Chris said I should as I just never know what will bring one on and as stress is one of the biggest causes, as usual he is probably right
I am hoping and praying that it will make a difference because it is so painful again at the moment The consultant as explained though that it might not make a difference but he will do what he can. It is mainly to see if I need a full or partial knee replacement.
I'm not sure what happens afterwards, I know I will be strapped up for a few days and I must do some excercises, but other than that I don't know
I will get Chris to let you know how it went and I will log on when I can
