    Sadly I CAN remember those ten bob notes Mick....and threepenny bits, halfpennies and half crowns etc., not to mention tanners and bobs!

    One of the joys of getting old I guess!

    ive got loads of half crowns too, a pound note as well....remember the florins as well?.....excuse me but threepenny bits means something totaly different in this part of the world

    what about the old telephones when you dropped a penny in and the sound it made those were the days eh!!
