    Pressure cookers are pretty handy dandy too. :D Now Mama could do a mean pot roast in the pressure cooker. :D

    My grandma uses a pressure cooker. I have never used it. It's always scared me. It makes all that noise, I'm afraid its going to blow and pop my eye out

    They are indecently easy to use. Why would you think it was going to blow up? If there are no issues with the seal or valve it's fine. If there are issues, then it shouldn't be used.

    My mum had one and she was stewing rhubarb and the valve blew. Every single surface in the kitchen was covered in rhubarb.
