We saw this last night when watching the news, it is unbelievable to think that is our beautiful normal green country.
I have saved the image to keep for the future.

Our local paper has this and they tell you that if you zoom in, the only green bit is Bournemouth! Told you we never get any real snow.

Interesting photo, and a very interesting link. I ended up clicking through and actually learning about some other news in other countries.

I really wish the US had something like the BBC, where news and information from other countries was a part of the information that was broadcast.

I am so sick of the garbage on the airwaves here that passes for news. Do I really care who is sleeping with whom? Nope. Not one little bit.

Anyway! Thank you for the photo AND the link to the outside world! :D

The BBCis great and I thik we take it for granted as it is 'uniquely financed' its pretty unbiased as well and I think world leading in documentaries and natre programmes
