    Manatees are beautiful creatures more related to the elephant than any marine animal. Isn't that interesting?

    They are gentle, graceful and curious which is what leads them into trouble with boaters.

    Fortunately, with new laws enacted over time, the manatees are no longer on the brink of extinction, but still considered an endangered species.

    We used Captain Mike's and did the ultimate manatee tour. Current prices etc HERE
