    And don't worry if Steven can't reach an octave yet. I'm an adult and barely can reach beyond an octave!

    It sounds like the teacher is accustomed to young children, so probably will work with him to make it a least a bit fun and not all drudgery!

    You can suprisingly get pianos quite reasonably sometimes. There are folks who just want to get rid of them. Start looking around now, and maybe you'll find a deal for when you are ready to get one.

    I know all the notes for Beathovens Piano concerto. All I have to do now is get them in the right order.

    Awesome - a casio keyboard should more than do for now. Pianos are quite pricey

    We have a Yamaha keyboard which will do for now. It is missing an octave at each end but we'll see how seriously he gets into it before coming round to practise at your house every night.
