It was announced that at one time yesterday there was snow lying on the ground in 49 of our 50 states. The first time in history this has happened. The lone exception

    HAWAII.

Actually, our six o'clock news last night said that it was on the ground in all 50 states including Hawaii. First time that's happened in recorded history!

Tom (... 49 or 50, it's still unbelievable! Pictures of Georgia later!)

i have pictures from friends in SC. Their kids didn't even own a warm coat or gloves! but they were out there at 9pm last night making snow men! I don't know how the local drivers are coping though, when we were there there was a frost and they closed all the schools!

Here's a few quick pictures from our house and neighborhood. We ended up with about 3 or 4 inches of snow. Not as much as we had during the blizzard of 1993, but it's more than we've had for a number of years now.

Remember, we're about 30 miles north of Atlanta.

Y'all come back now! Ya' hear! :D

    Yep!

Ours is kind of neat. Really pretty yesterday. Now today, it's practically all gone! Just that quick.

Tom (... don't like the weather down south? Wait 5 minutes. It'll change!)
