I was just thinking about when we go to Florida at the end of this year and was thinking what else everybody did apart from Disney, is there somewhere else you always have to visit while you are in orlando or do you purely do the parks? whether its a place to eat, or a stroll here or there - what else do you like to do?

We dont stay onsite, have always stayed on I-Drive, so one day for us is spent going to the outlets - but purely for the disney shop they have there, then its on to downtown disney for a couple of hours, then onto a round of crazy golf somewhere!

We always go to Winter Park Farmers Market on our 1st Saturday of our stay.

It's a lovely place, let me know if you'd like the website

Oh gosh, that is a great farmer's market Arkvilla! I'm a huge critic of the lousy options here in Florida for true fresh food that isn't picked two years prior to ripening to enable transport.

When we used to live in the NE and fly down for a visit, we'd certainly do DTD (on the first and last days). We sometimes went to IDrive, and sometimes didn't. One time we went to Cypress Gardens, but that is closed now (soon to be Legoland).

We'd do some shopping but not much as neither of us are shoppers.

Mostly we'd stick with Disney and our resort though.

Welcome to our new home! It's a lovely and friendly place. If you haven't joined yet, do register. It's a great place to make friends and share all those Disney secrets!!

Our favourite thing outside of Disney is the Saturday Classic Car Cruise at Old Town, Kissimmee.
