heading down to Brighton in the Easter Holidays hopefully, any ideas on things to do other than the pier?
any nice eateries?
I live in Brighton, what things do you like doing?
The Marina is a very nice place, within walking distance of the beach and pier, it has some very nice places to eat and a few small shops. Brighton Marina - Brighton Marina, Shopping, restaurants, seattle hotel, entertainmentOriginally Posted by britchick, post: 192583
I live a 5 min drive from the Marina.
You can visit places like The Royal Pavillion Royal Pavilion
As for outdoor activities I can't really think of any, we do a lot of walking on the downs in the summer but not sure if that is the sort of thing you want to do, Brighton tourist information guides from VisitBrighton
Ask any questions and I will try and help where I can.

I'm only 20 minutes away.
How about a picnic in Preston Park. There's a skatepark there if the boy is into that. Sealife Centre good for a couple of hours. Walking along the seafront. Shopping is pretty good in Brighton - they have a tiny Disney store.
oooh there's a restaurant on the seafront called The Regency. Looks totally shabby and and bit seedy but serves the best fish and chips ever. And proper deserts like rhubarb crumble. Run by an Italian family and they can't do enough to please you.
See what's on at the Brighton Centre. If you're at the Marina there's bowling and the cinema there.
Personally I avoid the pier. It's a money grabbing tourist trap. Have a walk to the end and back but don't stop to waste your money in there. And the doughnuts are never cooked properly.
Like Dawn,Mumof2 and Skywatcher have said we all live within a short driving distance or in Brighton maybe a mini meet could be arranged.
