oh my gosh Tink, it's not like you to whine....you must be feeling dreadful. Work, work...I know but take it as slowly as possible and rest up as much as you can or you'll end up being forced to take time out anyway.

Here's another I was given in Ireland once when i was poorly....cool boiled water so it's warm, vinegar, honey or sugar

And for you Johnie, this was a Greek remedy made by my cousins mother in law and grandmother in law when both my DH and sister were terribly poorly with a tummy bug in Corfu.

Rice cooked in lemon juice, it was quite stodgy but worked a treat

Oh good grief, my ear is starting to act up again.

Should I pour honey in it?

Warm olive oil is good for softening ear wax but I have no idea what honey would do in your ear but I don't think I'd risk it

There is a suggestion reportedly from Oprah's doctor, to put a peeled clove of garlic in one's ear... as if.

    Not doin' that either!

If it doesn't back off, I'll have to try and see my doc tomorrow morning before I leave for Ft. Lauderdale.
