    uggh... I have urticaria on the left side of my tummy.. and its no fun at all!

    I agree it could be caused by something inhis room, if he wakes up worse than he was when he want to bed

    some things to check

    1. anything new or different he's had for dinner
    2. new pillows, comforter, rug, or a different soap or detergent you have used
    3. lotion, toothpaste

    .. anything he has come in contact with before bedtime, or while he's asleep...

    If he has an allergy to dust than you might want to have your heat ducts cleaned. Also try allergy cases for the bed and pillow cases, My Ty has severe allegies, remove rugs and stuffed animals from the room! ( I don't know how old he is and if he still has those things lol)

    nothing is new in the house he hasnt eaten anything new either ..... he even slept on the sofa one night to see if that made a difference .... but it didnt.....the only thing i can think of is that he may heat up more when he's a sleep

    i am completly baffled as to why it has started

    Do you have a fan you could use to keep his room cool?

    Also, try getting him to sleep with one of those gel eye puff things on, see if that helps the swelling?
