Just saw this Shelly, how is your Dad doing this morning?! Lots of prayers coming your way.
Glad to hear that it wasn't a stroke Shelly.

He is hanging in there. He is very very tired. Trying to do way too much. My Dad isn't one to know how to slow down a bit and recover. He is "drooping" a bit more today ( I don't know how else to explain it) and his speech is affected a bit more today than yesterday. I guess it will get a bit worse before it gets better and add in the tired factor and there ya go.Originally Posted by Tinkfan, post: 195140
We are taking it one day at a time
Rest is crucial for recovery, hope he relaxes a bit more You too my dear.
It has been a pretty long time, so I thought I would give a small update. The Bell's palsy is still hanging on, but my Dad isn't nearly as affected by it as he was in the beginning. His speech is still a tiny bit slurred, but other than that things are far more normal. They said it can take up to 6 months to full heal, but we are hoping it will disappear way before that.
His favorite line these days is "I can't do that my Bell's have palsy."
Thanks for the update Shelly. I'm glad to here it's not getting worse-hopefullly only better from here on out!
