    I work as a receptionist for the on call doctor. If I laughed at a patient like that I'd be kicked down the office steps so fast...That behavior is inexcusable. Complain in writing to the practise manager - it's stressful enough for you as it is without being laughed at. :mad:

    As for the receptionist I hate when they give you the attitude of "We do this every day it isn't a big deal" well hello..I don't get it done every day and it scares the crap out of me :rolleyes008:

    Hi Liz my DMIL has had this test done twice over the years and both times it turned out fine, maybe if you explain to the medical staff how you feel they will maybe be able to give you something just to calm you, please go asap will be thinking of you everyone is here for you

    what a cow!!! i don't know what it is with some receptionists - there are some in our local surgery. There's no excuse!
