    Feel sorry for anyone flying today but volcanic ash is dangerous if it gets into a planes engines. I learnt that on Air Crash Investigation.

    Better safe than sorry.

    Doesn't look like anyone is going to be flyingout of Uk today and possibly not tomorrow either...

    The photo of the ash above the clouds is amazing.

    Apparantly it is too high up for us to see ( about 3 miles up)

    I feel for anyone who's travel plans are delayed. We all know the feeling that even a few minutes delay is too much but as Dawn says safety has to come first. for a swift return to normal.

    All together now. All of us Brits must face North and blow as hard as they can in unison to send that cloud back over the Arctic so that it doesn`t affect our flight next Tuesday.
