we've got a space for one of these in our plans and was planning on Trex but again Im reading that its not that great for food or service. I think either would suit the little ones so I dont think they'll mind which we go to

We did both, the service was excellent in both and the food was great, assuming you like that type of food (Which we do).

If you can only do one - what do you prefer, dinosaurs or jungle animals?

I think that with both of these types of places you go more for the environment. I have yet to try T-rex. It was still being built last time I was there.
