    With the WiFi off here at home, Star Walk still worked just fine! It may use your last triangulated location as your current location though. I just don't know on that one.

    You might check these guys. They specialize in used Macs and have been in business for a long time. Granted, you wouldn't sell through them. But it should give you an idea of pricing. Interestingly enough, on their "buy" page, they don't have any iMacs. Perhaps these are retaining their value better.

    Star walk is a great app and I wish I'd had it when I was starting out for 3 quid it's a bargain. The compass won't work for me. But I love how it shows where the nebulas and galaxies are so you can see where they are, you can put it into night vision mode so it doesn't mess up your dark adaption. It should help you see the nit sky so much better.

    There are some going on eBay that are the old white polycarb ones rather than the alu one for around 530. It doesn't have as good spec as mine either.

    It's a lovely Mac to be sure you could get a very good price for that, are you including any iworks for that as well? It all adds up

    iLife and iWorks, probably also will put the magic mouse with it as I have no use for it It's running Snow Leopard, too

    Still debating, will decide at the weekend.

    it is worth getting it regardless if it will work with wifi or not?
