    Water can trigger mine...basically anything, at anytime.

    Aw mate :( ibs is horrible. Not much to do but ride it out. Hot water bottle on tummy helps some

    Josh the thing about IBS and what triggers it is that, regrettably, it is a very personal thing. what triggers it in some people will help calm it in others, the other frustrating thing is that over time the triggers and relievers change in each individual

    one constant though is that stress can play a role

    We all have IBS in my family!! Oddly enough I had heard that of all things coconut is good for flare ups!! My Mom has Ulcerative Cohlitis and has started eating a maccaroon twice a day! It seems to help a little, go figure!

    Hi,

    It settled down a bit today and back at work.... I think stress made it worse lately sigh have so much on my plate and so much work to do (not just my current job) but other job also been working late three nights a week.

    Some serious cut back required here

    Yes, Jeff. I'm learning the same thing for myself too. When stress begins to negatively affect our physiological or mental health, changes must be made.

    Yep I am evaluating my lifestyle at the moment with work and life balance........

    Some cuts would need to me made urgently....
