My son has got to interview people who lived thought the 1960's so I was wondering if anyone could help, not that I'm am saying anyone is old.

He hasn't got any questions so just write what you think and he can work from what people write, Thank you.

Ah the 60`s...some of the best years of my life.

The music scene really took off with the emergence of the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and of course Eric Clapton to mention a few.
It was also a period when the Mini was invented [actually 1959 to be precise], and also when Mary Quant developed her own Mini...skirt that is.
Another iconic 60`s car was the Jaguar E Type...still my dream car.

Major events included the assassination of JFK and MLK and also the Apollo Moon missions.
Then there was the Bay of Pigs event which nearly led to WW 111, not to mention the fact of England`s World Cup victory in 1966.

The list is endless, I could go on for ages.

    It was an amazing time.

I watched England win the World cup.

I was one of the first girls in my town to wear a miniskirt. :D

I saw the Moon Landing and did a project about it. You can see my photos of that here:

I was a hippie. I walked around with bare feet and painted flowers on my face, hands & feet.

    Ahhh....great times.

Bring back the kaftans and the bell bottom jeans with tassles and bells.

I was a Mod at the time c/w a Lambretta adorned with 16 wing mirrors and tons of chrome.

What's the WC? I'm guessing not a toilet.
