It shows! Everything from the decorations, the set up, the food, the "roles" of the waiter, etc... all come together to make a great experience!

Your family sure does know how to throw a party, Mairead!

No, you are gushing at all! It's enthusiasm and it's wonderful. After all your family has been through, a nice party where everyone can enjoy themselves is much deserved.

It was really good to see a smile on Sharon's face. Her eyes tell the truth though, and that's something that won't change, I'm afraid. But the smile is lovely.

Just looking at that blurry pictures with the candles and fairy lights reminded me of one of our Corfu holidays back in September 1996 when Jamie and Billie were just turned 2 years old.

We stayed in a fairly remote village, one night the electricity went and we all had to light candles in our little holiday apartments.

We were all in a row, Sally with Billie's dad Ray and Billie, then Mum and Dad with Daniel and Mark who would've been 10 and 8, then Lee, Jamie and me, and lastly Ray's Mum and brother.

That evening we went across the road to a taverna and had to eat food that could be grilled only and eat by candlelight.......I must remind everyone of that, wish I'd thought about it the other night!
