Thread: closest beaches to disneyworld?

    Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldnt find any help on it we'd like to spend a day or two at a nice beach to sunbathe, are there any close to disney or would it be a long way

    which ones should we be looking at on the maps

    Disney water parks do have man-made beach so it is good enough for couple of hours me think..

    I hear that Clearwater is a nice place to visit...on the West Coast around a 2 hour drive away.

    There also are beaches at the Poly, the GF and WL, although stricly speaking you should actually be staying at those resorts in order to use those facilities.

    you dont have any photos do you robert? I'm another one looking for a beach to go to although 2 hours is a long way for us

    Keep in mind that the oil spill is effecting the beaches of the Gulf.

    Go to Cocoa Beach and enjoy (although there are reports of tar/oil splotches showing up at Cape Canaveral).
